As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will oversee preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.
What you'll do:
• Lead all aspects of maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
• Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete the repair and maintain inventory of adequate supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life; manage repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
• Responsible for compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
• Apply deep expertise in standard principles and procedures to solve sophisticated challenges, deliver innovative solutions, and mentor others by sharing broad knowledge across multiple subject areas.
• Lead by example through behaviors aligned with CBRE's RISE values, build consensus across teams, and influence a wide range of customer, operational, and project activities by modeling collaboration and driving impactful outcomes.
What you'll need
• High School Diploma, GED, trade school diploma or 4-5 years of relevant work experience. Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and CMMS
