Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Developer to help build systems that have a positive impact. The role involves developing mission-critical software solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment while participating in a comprehensive training program to enhance digital skills.
Responsibilities:
• Develop software solutions from vision to production-ready systems.
• Design and implement modular software architectures.
• Work with open application programming interfaces and provide access to data.
• Design database schemas and write structured query language.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply Agile fundamentals in software development.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, Go, Golang, Rust, or TypeScript
• Experience with designing and implementing modular software architectures
• Knowledge of open application programming interface and providing access to data
• Knowledge of database schema design and structured query language
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Agile fundamentals
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
• Experience with open-source map libraries, including OpenLayers Map OL, or Cesium
• Knowledge of open-source communication protocols, including MQTT, gRPC, or WebSockets
• TS/SCI clearance
