Account Mgr. Commercial Div.
Midwest's Largest Truck Equipment Manufacturer and Distributor has an immediate opening for an Account Manager in our Commercial Division. Enjoy the excitement of working with OEM truck dealerships, fleets, and end users to find the best solution for their mobile equipment needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plan to maintain corporate growth
  • Appointments, telephone and email contact with customers to determine appropriate product based on application, recommendation and bid specifications.
  • Prepare quotes, costing and lead-time while working with purchasing, engineering, service and scheduling to present the most competitive and complete package to fulfill customer needs.
  • Recognize and adapt to new market conditions
  • Immediate response to requests from customers and Monroe Truck Equipment management
  • Communicate with customers about the build process and schedule of their equipment
  • Attend, organize, and participate in meetings, training, trade shows and industry association meetings to support customer needs and for personal growth within the industry as required
  • Work with Leadership Group to streamline the overall process with constant improvement in mind.
  • Enter customer data for current and potential customers into CRM on a daily basis.
  • Efficient planning of travel in your assigned territory.
  • Driving Commercial Trucks to display and demonstrate Monroe Truck Equipment product.
  • Occasional overnight travel is required

Qualification and Skills:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and previous experience with truck equipment or related products is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics extremely beneficial.
  • Ability to develop relationships with current and potential customers.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work within a Team Setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office software; Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Ability to Read and Understand Specifications.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Attention to detail is important.
  • Proficient time management and multitasking.
  • Must work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, profit margins, mark-up and percentages of growth.
