Title: Senior
Mobile Application Developer


Level: Senior (intermediate will be considered)


Location: Calgary, AB (in-office role)


The Role

We're looking for a Senior Mobile Application Developer with strong React Native experience to join our team at Showpass. You will work closely with product, design and development teams to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.


What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
  • Deliver the best user experience to meet the needs of current users and gain new users
  • Integrate peripheral hardwares to mobile application
  • Work closely with developers and UX designers to effectively build app features
  • Manage app releases on App Store and Google Play
  • Troubleshoot and debug app issues
  • Participate in routine standups, code reviews and testing
  • Write clean code in a testable, reliable and sustainable way
  • Take a user-centered design and development approach

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary education in a Computer/Engineering/Media/Design/Marketing related field is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years mobile application development experience required
  • Experience working with the following technologies: React, React Native
  • Experience building reusable components and utilizing web services
  • Strong problem solving, testing and debugging skills
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have a clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design
  • Must be passionate about all things UI/UX and other areas of development and innovation
  • Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies
  • Be willing to learn from and share knowledge and experience with the rest of the team
