Job description

Mobile Android Engineer Treasure is a small team building a mobile ecommerce app. We're looking for another developer to join us and help build our Android app. We're a small, nimble team and we ship things fast.

As a mobile engineer, you'll report directly to our founders and head of engineering. Your job duties might include: Collaborating with the team on Slack and Asana Developing our Android app in Java Turning wireframes and Sketch designs into real, working code Connecting to our backend API Helping with our Ruby on Rails backend (if you'd like) Working with 3rd party APIs (Pinterest, Shopify, Amazon, Facebook, etc) Employ best practices in Agile The ideal candidate should have: At least 1 year of Android Development Experience Programming experience in Java Shipped at least 1 app to the Google Play store Knowledge of UI frameworks (either Android, iOS, XML), MVC/MVP application design and complex Experience working with SQL and/or document databases Experience with git or other distributed version control systems Experience with cloud services like Amazon, Heroku -- debugging experience Experience working with RESTful, JSON APIs Experience with at least one dynamic language such as Ruby, Python, or PHP Strong knowledge of code organization Bonus: Experience in eCommerce Live in Bay Area or San Luis Obispo/ Cal Poly Area.
