What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features for the Cracker Barrel Android application.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the user interface and experience align with Cracker Barrel's brand identity and standards.
  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance Android applications using modern development practices.
  • Integrate with external APIs and data sources to provide dynamic content and functionality within the app.
  • Develop and execute unit tests and automated tests to ensure robustness, reliability, and performance.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, responsiveness, and security of Android applications.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, documentation, and CI/CD automation practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Continuously monitor app performance, crash analytics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 - 2 years of Proven experience developing and deploying Android applications to the Google Play Store.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Java.
  • Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack libraries.
  • Knowledge of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Familiarity with mobile application testing frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with Git and modern source control workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
