Job Overview

Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, replacing worn parts, and conducting routine inspections. Troubleshoot and repair of production equipment using the guidance of experienced technicians. Install or relocated production equipment and related facilities. Develop knowledge of equipment and maintenance procedures. Develop knowledge of common mechanical systems such as fluid control, hydraulics, pneumatics, gas, vacuum, heating, cooling, welding, and conveyance. Work under close supervision while developing foundational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Always follow safety procedures, including lock out-tag out and confined space.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubricating machinery, and replacing worn components.
  • Assist with the troubleshooting and repair of production and facilities systems.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, welding, light duty electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Operation of light and medium duty industrial equipment.
  • Develop knowledge of equipment, procedures and mechanical systems.
  • Accurate documentation of work completed and related findings.

    • 0-10 years of experience in maintenance, including mechanic apprenticeship time
