Position Summary
The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Logistics and Supply Chain) serves as a key engagement point for SAP projects, enhancements, and production support across enterprise logistics, warehouse, procurement, materials management, and manufacturing planning processes. This role acts as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT leadership, technical teams, and external service partners to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions. The position supports SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Ariba and related logistics applications, ensures alignment with global business processes, and helps drive reliable, compliant, and high-quality delivery across distributed teams and time zones.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with logistics, supply chain, warehouse, procurement, manufacturing, and related business teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable SAP functional specifications.
  • Support and lead SAP solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation activities across MM, WM, QM, PP modules, Ariba and related integration points.
  • Create and maintain project deliverables including business process flows, functional designs, gap analysis, test plans, cutover plans, training materials, and support documentation.
  • Provide functional support for incidents, service requests, enhancements, and change requests in alignment with IT governance, service levels, and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional, technical, integration, infrastructure, and external partner teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity and timely delivery.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, user acceptance support, and end-user training for SAP logistics and supply chain capabilities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of SAP functional experience supporting logistics and supply chain processes, with strong hands-on experience in SAP MM, WM, QM, and PP modules and Ariba.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory management, procurement, quality management, production planning, master data, and logistics execution processes.
  • At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations including blueprint, design, build, testing, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Experience integrating SAP logistics processes with other functional areas such as Finance, Sales and Distribution as well as integration with third-party logistics and supply chain applications.
  • Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager.
  • Proven experience in S/4HANA migration and/or greenfield implementations.
  • Demonstrated project execution skills through SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, enhancements, or major support initiatives.
  • Strong project management background and familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Certifications preferred:
    • SAP certification in WM, MM, QM, PP, S/4HANA Supply Chain, or related areas.
    • APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD.
    • PMI certification such as PMP or PMI-ACP.
