What You'll Do

• Carry out standard and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established methodologies.
• Assess results meticulously, solve challenges as they arise, and manage maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection and facilitate sample preparation for testing when necessary.
• Document procedures meticulously, mentor new staff and trainees, and contribute to the lab's quality assurance efforts.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be secured within a year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
