CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a MLB Repair Technician 1. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Completes component-level repairs (capacitor, resistors, etc.)
  • Tests, troubleshoots and diagnoses basic system failures
  • Conducts visual mechanical inspection of units, components (LCD, Motherboards, etc.) and/or subcomponents.
  • Performs computer data entry using Microsoft Excel and/or internal databases including production systems
  • Follows procedures and diagrams in performing engineering change orders
  • Learns and uses new processes and procedures for the MLB repair line
  • Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 or more years of experience in electronics repair, failure analysis, and diagnosis
  • Intermediate skills in through-hole soldering
  • Familiar with surface mount technology
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics/block diagrams with detailed understanding of computer and subassembly functionality
  • Ability to use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes & multi-meters, etc.)
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure quality requirements are met
  • Intermediate English abilities required
  • Basic Excel knowledge
  • Experience using hand power tools
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
  • Excellent time-management skills

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

  • Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
  • Lift/carry up to 20lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 10lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
  • Occasional stooping or crouching
  • Use of small hand tools
