  • Work directly with military personnel and defense customers to understand mission requirements and technical challenges.
  • Troubleshoot software, networking, Linux, Android, and hardware integration issues in the field.
  • Support deployments involving mixed reality systems, sensors, embedded hardware, and tactical technologies.
  • Gather operational feedback and translate customer needs into product improvements.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, infrastructure, and product engineering teams.
  • Travel to military installations, customer locations, and field exercises across the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in forward deployed, field, onsite, or customer-facing software engineering.
  • Experience supporting defense, military, aerospace, robotics, embedded systems, autonomous systems, or tactical technology environments.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, debugging, and supporting production software in operational environments.
  • Experience working with technologies that interface with physical hardware, including:
    • Embedded Systems
    • Robotics
    • Sensors
    • Mixed Reality (MR/AR/VR)
    • Hardware Integrations
    • Tactical Devices
    • Autonomous Platforms
  • Experience with advanced visualization frameworks.
  • Experience developing frontend features that support drones, autonomous vehicles, live sensor feeds, or similar real-time visualization systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including IP addressing, routing, network topology, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working within Linux and/or Android environments.
  • Programming experience with one or more of the following:
    • C
    • Rust
    • Java (Android)
    • Python
  • Willingness to travel 35–50% domestically to military installations, testing events, and customer sites.
Education Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science from a well-respected, accredited university.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense programs.
  • Experience with edge computing or real-time distributed systems.
  • Experience integrating software with hardware platforms and sensors.
  • Background working in austere or tactical environments.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and operational stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $165,000–$220,000 Base Salary
  • Competitive Equity Package
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge defense technology
  • High-impact work supporting U.S. national security missions
  • Career growth within a rapidly expanding defense technology company
