Lead Pastor Profile
First Alliance Church of Toccoa is seeking a Lead Pastor who will shepherd the congregation well, grow our strengths in global missions and loving relationships within the body, and provide strong yet humble leadership for the church as a whole as we engage our community and world.
The ideal candidate will have a strong pastoral calling and desire to know, love, and nurture his flock. He will be a preacher-teacher who knows and loves the Word of God, continually growing in his knowledge and understanding of God and His Word. A leader who is led by the Spirit, he will be able to unite his staff and the congregation around a godly vision for this church by encouraging and exhorting us to maturity in Christ. We seek a mature man of God with integrity and compassion, a humble servant-leader who is approachable and a good communicator. He will lead the church in connecting to Christ, growing with others, and engaging the world.

  • Called to minister to and grow a congregation of 250+ people
  • Committed to the district, national, and international missions of the C&MA

REQUIREMENTS
  • A degree in pastoral ministry or a related area
  • Ordained (or willing to be) by the C&MA
  • Committed to ongoing development and training
