Job description

Position Description
The Temporary Summer Custodian assists with maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment during the summer months. This position supports routine custodial services and deep cleaning projects. The role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Major/Essential Functions
  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
  • Assist with summer deep-cleaning projects such as floor stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning, and window washing
  • Safely operate custodial equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
  • Follow established safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas to established standards
