Move with Purpose:
In this role, moving with purpose means every pitch you send and every report you build should answer the question: How does this move the needle for our client's business goals? Day-to-day you will:
  • Create high-quality pitches, executive prep documents, speaking abstracts, and award submissions.
  • Contribute to campaign plans and brainstorms, bringing fresh ideas for news hooks and seasonal trends.
  • Build and maintain hyper-targeted media and influencer lists using tools like Muck Rack, Cision, or Propel.
  • Regularly monitor media, provide analysis and report on metrics
  • Proactively pitch media and influencers and develop media relationships; Identify and initiate contact with key enterprise influencers and analysts to broaden the client's share of voice.
  • Own the end-to-end management of speaking and awards programs, including deadline tracking, submission writing, and results reporting.
  • Conduct daily media monitoring for clients, competitors, and industry shifts (e.g., regulatory changes or major M&A).
  • Develop monthly and quarterly coverage reports, providing qualitative analysis on how coverage aligns with client KPIs.
  • Ensure all trackers, status reports, and internal drives are organized and up-to-date.

Go Deeper:
  • 1-3 years of communications or PR experience, preferably with technology companies or related industries
  • Experience working with clients (prior agency experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Excellent organizational, communications (written and verbal) and time management skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer and PR tech applications including MuckRack, Lexis, Sysomos, Meltwater, CatchPole, Google Docs and News Alerts, and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to and from client meetings as appropriate

Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills and prior relevant experience.
Mission North cares about you and your overall well-being, and that's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package, for full-time employees, that includes healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan including an employer match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellbeing benefits, paid time off, paid parental leave, and several paid holidays, among others.
Pay Range: Expected Salary range depending on experience: $55,000-$70,000, not including year end profit sharing bonus.
