Dishwasher

At Cedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what "Celebrating Life Every Day!" means to our residents and their families, then we help them achieve these goals. We are seeking a full-time Dishwasher for our community. 

Responsibilities:
  • Load, run, and unload the dish machine. 
  • Complete dish machine temperatures and sanitation logs daily to ensure machine is working properly. 
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
  • Clean all assigned areas per the cleaning schedule and maintain a spotless dish room that is both clean and organized.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of clean dishes for efficient delivery during meal service.
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Remove chipped items out of service and maintain a rack of "chipped" items.
  • Bag and haul trash to the dumpster at designated times.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen areas.
  • Clean food preparation and production areas using proper soap and sanitation solutions as required.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction.

Qualifications:
  • No previous experience needed.
  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures a plus.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to problem solve.
