Warehouse Cycle Counter
Salary: $18.00 per hour based upon experience 
Monday- Friday 7:00AM - Completion

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Perform Cycle counts
  • Report any unidentified found inventory
  • Report excessive  moves or improper storage of  merchandise
  • Report any unsafe situation in or on the storage racks
  • Investigate shortages and overages as directed
  • Investigate any discovered inventory situations or problems, including but not limited to mis-tags, improper locates, and improper movement of product
  • Inspect and  report rack damage
  • Required to perform the functions of a lift operator as necessary

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment such as a Cherry Picker get certified (company paid). 
  • Heavy lifting required up to 150 lbs.
  • Must comply with Havertys safety requirements.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout shift.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team Player.
  • Ability to pass Criminal Background check, Lifting Assessment, and Drug Test.
  • Previous warehouse supervisor or lead experience a plus.
  • Must complete and understand all company-sponsored safety programs. 
     

Work Environment: 

Warehouse setting: must wear proper Havertys-provided uniforms, steel-toed work boots/shoes required, safety gear when applicable. 
Monday – Friday, 7:00am to completion 
 

Physical Demands: 

Must successfully complete a physical assessment to be considered for the position. 
You must have the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move furniture up to 150 pounds while loading and unloading trucks, properly handling materials, and wrapping and unwrapping merchandise.
