Mining Engineers – Underground Operations and Technical Services


Location: Timmins, Ontario

Permanent | Site-Based | Relocation Support May Be Available

Skyline Recruitment is supporting confidential mining operations in the Timmins region with several current and anticipated mining engineering appointments.

We are interested in speaking with qualified mining engineers who have experience in underground operations, mine planning, technical services, projects or engineering leadership.

Opportunities may range from intermediate and senior engineering positions through to superintendent and technical-services leadership roles.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should ideally possess:

  • A degree in mining engineering or a related discipline
  • Canadian underground mining experience
  • Professional Engineer designation in Canada, or eligibility to obtain a P.Eng.
  • Strong mine-planning, operational or technical-services capabilities
  • Experience working collaboratively with geology, operations, maintenance and finance teams
  • A practical and hands-on approach to supporting mine-site performance


Preference will be given to candidates already based in Timmins or Northern Ontario. Relocation support may be available for suitably qualified candidates who are prepared to establish themselves in the region.


Rotational arrangements may be considered for selected positions where operationally suitable.
