Aftermarket Regional Manager – Northeast

Reports To

SupremeServ Sales Director

Location

Candidate must be located in the Northeast US Territory: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York.

Position Summary

KSB, a worldwide leader in pump manufacturing, seeks a motivated individual to be responsible for aftermarket sales of shop service/rebuilds, parts, retrofit and field service for KSB Inc. in the assigned area. The position allows freedom to work independently and to be involved in all aftermarket aspects of pump sales.

Responsibilities
  • Manage quotations and sales to customers.
  • Promote value‑added services and products at all stages of the selling cycle.
  • Conduct sales travel (expected 75‑80%).
  • Bring in inquiries and follow the proposal process to ensure the proposal is competitive, accurate and on time.
  • Pass leads for new equipment or other sales territory opportunities belonging to other territories or salespeople.
  • Provide and coordinate PowerPoint presentations, conduct factory tours and site tours as necessary.
  • Periodically review and offer improvement suggestions on sales materials (literature and website).
  • Follow up daily on CRM tasks, gathering and entering specific information at each stage (e.g., competition, pricing, valued aspects of quotation, lost‑sale criteria).
  • Submit monthly reports in a format agreed upon with Aftermarket Management to forecast resources for incoming work.
  • Submit weekly itineraries. Use best judgment to manage travel and selling expenses.
Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and rotating equipment background, preferably pumps.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet use.
  • CAD experience desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the designated territory.
  • 3‑5 years experience in equipment repair, maintenance and selling related products in power, chemical, general industrial and petroleum sectors.
