Job Description

Position Overview: As a Recruiter for Keystone Cooperative, you will be a part of the HR team located atthe corporate office in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Talent Acquisition Team supports four divisions - Energy, Agronomy, Grain, and Swine and Animal Nutrition with more than 80 locations across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. This role will manage the full recruitment life cycle from candidate identification and evaluation to offer negotiation for a wide range of positions with a variety of level and job disciplines for our Agronomy division in Indiana and Michigan.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process across all Keystone divisions

  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders, working closely with them to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies for open positions. Work with the hiring team to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against criteria

  • Proactively build relationships with potential candidates, creating a robust pipeline of highly qualified candidates for current and future needs

  • Develop applicant flow for open positions and manage external partnerships. Source and screen qualified candidates, leverage a variety of sources to include internet job boards, employee referrals, internet search engines, resume mining techniques, social media, job fairs, associations, and vendors as needed

  • Act as the public face during recruitment process to ensure positive candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding

  • Manage candidates professionally through the interview process, including scheduling interviews, setting expectations appropriately, providing feedback, negotiating offers effectively, and creating an overall positive candidate experience

  • Provide consistent follow up with hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process

  • Participate in hiring discussions; gather and consolidate feedback from interview team members and facilitate a hiring decision

  • Assist with the high school grad rotational and college internship programs

  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data

  • Prepare and extend offers of employment and assist with the pre-employment process

  • Handle special projects and other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Clear understanding of life cycle recruiting

  • Demonstrated success in developing sourcing strategies, direct sourcing and creative candidate generation

  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to partner with and coach hiring managers on the recruiting process

  • Excellent interviewing skills for establishing rapport with candidates and gathering information from hiring managers

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Interpersonal and organizational savvy, relates well to others, builds relationships with all levels, quick study with people

  • Excellent time management, prioritization and judgment skills with a positive attitude, high energy and focused attention to detail

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Basic knowledge of employment laws

  • Customer service attitude and team player

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience, preferably in agronomy or related industry

  • Experience in Workday highly preferred

  • Although hybrid, must be willing and able to work from the Indianapolis office four days a week and trave to our Agronomy locations in Indiana and Michigan
