Soles Electric is looking for a talented Field Service Technician to join us in delivering excellence in customer service and craftsmanship within the Electric Motor Repair, Pump Repair, and Equipment Rebuild Industries. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix problems with machinery, hardware, or systems.
  • Customer Support: Provide on-site service and build positive customer relationships.
  • Documentation: Create detailed service reports and document processes.
  • Logistics: Manage time, materials, and safely operate company vehicles. 

Essential Skills:

  • Technical Skills: Diagnosing, repairing, various types of rotating equipment. Operate pneumatic and hand tools, cutting torch, and mig/stick weld.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written skills, active listening.
  • Customer Service: Professionalism, courtesy, and relationship-building.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivation, time management, adaptability, and attention to detail. 

Typical Work Environment:

  • Travel to various customer locations (factories, mines &businesses).
  • Work indoors/outdoors, in different weather, potentially in tight or high spaces, and at underground mining facilities. 

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License. 
  • Technical certifications: MSHA      
  • 80hr & 40hr mine training is preferred. 
  • Safety Sensitive Card.
