Our extensive experience, expertise, products and services provide customers availability to World Class Off-The-Road and Mining tire and service solutions. Our solution-based offers are customized around the needs of each customer, with a commitment to making mining mobility safe, profitable, and efficient. GCR operates 9 Stores, 2 Bandag Retread Plants, and 5 Off-The-Road Tire Repair Facilities in 5 states, along with managing tire programs at several remote mine locations. In short, GCR operates anywhere mining equipment is operated.

Position Summary
Perform a variety of tire services and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including automotive, commercial, off-road, farm, industrial, and mining equipment. This role requires physical strength, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety.
Pay Range: $17.50 - $35.00

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site tire services at customer mining locations, as needed.
  • Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair for all tire sizes, including large OTR and mining equipment tires.
  • Operate specialized hydraulic equipment for efficient tire changes.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on customer equipment, identifying and addressing tire wear, cuts, and other issues.
  • Recommend additional tire purchases, retreads, parts, or services based on customer needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience working with a variety of tire types, including automotive, commercial, off-road, farm, industrial, and mining equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift and move tires weighing up to 250 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Strong physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and demanding work conditions.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
  • MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) certification preferred.
