What you'll do
- Mechanical Systems: Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial mechanical systems such as roller and belt conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, overhead cranes etc. to ensure reliable plant operations.
- Electrical Maintenance Support: Conduct maintenance and repairs industrial electrical systems including 480V-600V equipment, motors, and VFDs supporting overall equipment functionality.
- Shift Work Execution: Operate effectively during the 5 PM to 5 AM shift on a 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 3 days off schedule, maintaining consistent equipment uptime.
- Success Metrics: Achieve minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting, contributing to plant efficiency and safety.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you'll bring
Must-haves:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for both mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience with roller and belt conveyor systems
- Prior experience in a heavy industrial or mining setting
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility and reliability in shift work environments
- Experience working with 480V-600V electrical systems, motors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
