Job Overview
We have an opportunity for an Infrastructure Analyst to join our global IT team working out of our headquarters office in Milwaukee, WI (Harbor District). This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional who is eager to build a career in enterprise infrastructure. Whether you are a recent graduate or have gained experience through internships, co-op programs, or an early-career infrastructure role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced IT professionals while developing the technical skills needed to support and enhance a global technology environment.
In this role you will support:
Infrastructure Design and Deployment:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and analyze current infrastructure needs and develop
    comprehensive plans for improvements and upgrades.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for the adoption of new infrastructure
    components that align with business goals.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Provide technical support to business stakeholders and other IT teams, resolving infrastructure-related
    issues promptly.
  • Document troubleshooting procedures and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.

Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices and policies to protect the organization's infrastructure and data.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and patch management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to IT infrastructure.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multiple, cross-functional global teams such as application owners, network, and Komatsu subsidiaries to complete multiple high profiled IT projects.
  • Establish goals, schedules and performance metrics to deliver business value.
  • Act as a technical engineer for multiple simultaneous projects and day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with various members of the IT team on infrastructure, network, backup, and systems design.
  • Deploy new products and manage day to day operations as part of the Office 365 and Azure AD environment supporting over 60,000 users globally
  • Assist in developing and implementing policy, security best practices, and standards across the global organization
  • Perform optimization efforts and implement automation and scripting to improve efficiencies.
  • Recommend and implement performance improvements and cost-control strategies. Monitor the performance and usage of cloud services
  • Develops and improves ICT departmental processes for continuous work environment improvement
  • Creates and improves documentation to support and improve problem resolution time and analysis
  • Participate in Incident Response teams to address production or security related issues.
  • Participate in an on-call occasionally during projects and as an escalation point
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, or comparable technical field experience
  • Ability to demonstrate strong logical problem solving and ability to independently execute on technical tasks
  • 2+ years of IT Technical experience managing large scale Infrastructure environments including patching, scripting, and design
  • 2+ years of scripting and automation in a large organization (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure optimization and automation
  • Strong troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.
