Job Title: Structural Designer (EIT)Department: EngineeringReports to: Structural LeadGENERAL PURPOSE OF THIS JOBIn collaboration with the engineering team and other stakeholders, the Structural Designer develops designs by conceptualizing, creating, analyzing, revising and finalizing "Best for Project" 3D designs, drawings and calculations of complex permanent mine facility infrastructure, temporary shaft sinking gear, material handling, process systems, and above ground facilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESHEALTH AND SAFETYWork in compliance with all health and safety rules and regulations for CementationBe aware of any health and safety hazards or infractions and report same to Health and Safety DepartmentEnsure all applicable safety codes and regulations are met by appropriate design and use of technologyBe a champion for safety, advocating safe behaviour while incorporating safety into the designs produced by the groupGENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis description lists the core responsibilities and duties of the position.
