Short Job Description

The ideal Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment in shop and yard location

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues
  • Perform scheduled maintenance
  • Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufactures
  • Look up and order parts as needed
  • Document and complete all paperwork for jobs and machines as required
  • All tasks assigned by service or fleet managers

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere and OTR is preferred
  • Working Knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems
  • Proficiency with OEM parts look up and ordering systems
