Work Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime and after-hours work available)
Compensation: $25-$35/hour (DOE) + SPIF Incentives + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, mechanically skilled, and committed to delivering outstanding service while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical HVAC system failures.

  • Repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and ventilation systems.

  • Troubleshoot refrigerant, airflow, electrical, thermostat, and system performance issues.

  • Install replacement components and perform system adjustments.

  • Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

  • Communicate repair recommendations clearly with customers.

  • Complete service documentation and work orders accurately.

  • Maintain company vehicle, inventory, and tools.

  • Follow EPA, OSHA, and company safety procedures.

  • Build positive customer relationships through professional service.

  • Collaborate with dispatchers, office staff, and fellow technicians.

  • Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.

  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at every customer interaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of residential HVAC service experience

  • Registered Idaho HVAC Journeyman OR Apprentice with 2,000+ documented hours

  • EPA Certification (Required)

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems independently

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
