Are you a skilled Mining Engineer ready to lead in one of Utah’s most established mining operations? Our client, a highly stable organization with over 1,000 employees across multiple sites, is searching for a Mining Engineer to join their team in Central Utah.

Overall Purpose: Assist the Engineering department to provide various engineering support activities.

Responsibilities: Proficient understanding of engineering principles (soil/rock mechanics, steel design, hydraulics/pump networks, ventilation, conveyors, electricity, economics) Excellent computer skills (AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining/Civil/Mechanical) or equivalent experience

Engineer in Training (EIT)

Professional Engineering License (PE)

Experience in underground continuous and longwall mining methods

Experience in project management

Must come out of Coal.
