Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of system testing on a simple to complex implementations. This individual should be able to communicate effectively with the development team, requirement team, and business units to write, execute, and validate test cases based upon system requirements.
Job duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports for an online web application based on business requirements
  • Perform functional testing on various business components, modules and functionalities
  • Perform other testing aspects such as system testing, regression testing, integration testing
  • Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
  • Review and analyze user requirements documents in tools such as Confluence to ensure that requirements are testable
  • Identify and facilitate issue resolution with functional and technical groups
  • Document the entire quality assurance testing process in test management tools such as Adaptivist, Jira and communicate the test results to the team constantly
  • Work with other functional Testers and non-functional testers and collaborate with project manager, developers, business analysts and representatives from business units throughout the testing process
  • Participate in the user stories review meeting, project sync up a meeting and other meetings as required

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 4+ years of Software Testing experience with strong background and proven expertise in functional testing
  • Experience working with tools such as Confluence and test management tools such as Adaptivist
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Excellent communication skills. Must be attentive to detail, highly-organized, and able to multi-task
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality assurance life cycle and testing methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a highly demanding environment
  • Experience in the health care domain is a plus.
