Summary of Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all department work is performed in a safe manner and that all work areas are maintained to meet all MSHA standards.
- Generates a work plan including daily and weekly schedules.
- Provides input into budgeting.
- Ensures that the weekly maintenance plan is communicated and planned per MPS standards.
- Responsible for the quality execution of work and reports and recommends solutions to deviations from the plan.
- Develops work package for various levels of outages.
- Performs inspections to ensure equipment health is maintained.
- Orders all necessary parts and materials to complete the work plan.
- Ensures that all necessary parts are pre-positioned and or delivered to the job site prior to commencement of the job.
- Works with the supervisor to ensure that all work orders are closed when completed.
- Updates equipment history, equipment component tracking, APLs in a timely manner
- Communicates feedback requirements for each repair.
- Works with the supervisors, craft work/technicians, and reliability engineers to ensure the equipment improvement activities are occurring.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Supervisory experience or previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to read and comprehend Gantt charts and use CMMS software (training provided).
Preferred Qualification:
- 2-4 year technical degree or equivalent.
- 2-4 years' experience in an industrial setting.
