Physical Therapist Assistant - Mind&Mobility

Location: Medicare Part B Visits- Jupiter area/Palm Beach County Area- PRN

Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Pay: $45-$48.50/ visit

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home care for Medicare Part B patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, deliver skilled therapy to improve mobility, strength, and function, and educate patients on exercises and safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, balance, and function.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and fall prevention strategies.
  • Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with Medicare Part B guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and the interdisciplinary home health/ therapy team.
  • Monitor patient response to therapy and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment during home visits.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in home health or outpatient therapy preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Part B documentation and regulations.
  • Strong patient care, treatment implementation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and report patient progress.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible, home-based schedule.
  • CPR and other relevant certifications as required.
