Location: New London, WI
Pay: $30-$35/hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Travel: Approximately 30% travel required

Join Amcor as a Millwright and help keep our manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment while supporting preventive maintenance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
What You'll Do
  • Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics to complete equipment repairs and installations.
  • Dismantle, move, assemble, install, and align machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform mechanical repairs.
  • Perform metal fabrication, pipe fitting, hydraulic repairs, and basic carpentry work.
  • Operate shop equipment to machine parts to required specifications.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
  • Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts while following all plant safety requirements.
  • Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance activities, including laser alignment and equipment leveling.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and confined space entry requirements.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For
  • State-issued Journeyman Millwright card, Associate Degree in Mechanics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, climb stairs, and work on ladders as needed.
