Job description

Pioneer Millworks of Farmington NY is seeking a detail-oriented Shop Production Associate to join our team. This role is essential to the production of pre-finished wood products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of production and finishing, from operating equipment applying finish coatings to color matching, and will play a supporting role in our finishing department.

Key Responsibilities:

Basic Manufacturing: Assist in the preparation of wood products using standard manufacturing tools, equipment and processes

Finishing: Work with our finishing team in the processing and manufacturing of pre-finished wood flooring and siding products

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive
  • Ability to work in a fast pace setting
  • Familiarity with basic woodworking tools and equipment is a plus.
  • Experience in the finishing of wood products a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
