Class A CDL Domicile Driver
We have immediate openings for a Class A CDL Domicile Driver in the region of Columbia, SC. Since 1967, Tucker Door & Trim has been a well-respected wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry. Our ever-growing fleet of tractor-trailers make regular deliveries to wholesale customers throughout the Southeastern United States, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and DC.

- 18 months of proven CLASS A Truck Driving Experience within the last 36 months
- No accidents, major moving or driving violations within the last year
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software
- Ability to sit, stand, enter and exit the truck and trailer continuously over long periods of time
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
- Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues, perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections
- Ensure that delivery schedules are delivered as scheduled
- Retain all necessary documents for each trip
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods)
- Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations
