Class A CDL Driver Opportunity

We have immediate openings for Class A CDL drivers in Monroe, GA. Since 1967, Tucker Door & Trim has been a well-respected wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry. Our ever-growing fleet of tractor-trailers make regular deliveries to wholesale customers throughout the Southeastern United States, including Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and DC.

Requirements
  • 18 months of proven CLASS A Truck Driving Experience within the last 36 months
  • No major moving or driving violations within the last year
  • Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software
  • Ability to sit, stand, enter and exit the truck and trailer continuously over long periods of time
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
Responsibilities
  • Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues, perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections
  • Ensure that delivery schedules are delivered as scheduled
  • Retain all necessary documents for each trip
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods)
  • Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations
