About This Role

Supervise and coordinate laboratory services for researchers and instructors in the Department of Grain and Food Science; monitor issues related to departmental research and instruction equipment and facilities and recommend corrective actions to the Department Head; monitor laboratory safety practices and support faculty, staff, and students in ensuring compliance; identify and supervise the execution of changes that can improve the logistical support of the departmental research facilities.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience. Education beyond the minimum degree requirement may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by the hiring manager.
    The degree requirement ensures candidates possess the comprehensive understanding of animal health principles, regulatory frameworks and analytical skills necessary to oversee operations, evaluate program effectiveness and design improvements. These competencies are typically developed and rigorously validated only through the comprehensive curriculum and intensive experiential experience inherent in a formal degree program.
    Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • -Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, engineering or related discipline
    -Master's degree in a science discipline
    -5-Years relevant experience
