About the Role:

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer - High Voltage plays a key role in supporting our paper mill operations by leading capital projects focused on sustaining electrical infrastructure. The role is highly hands-on, with a strong focus on project execution, troubleshooting, and collaboration across teams and vendors.The ideal candidate bringsdeeptechnicalexpertisein electrical systems and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position collaborates closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operational areas to ensure electrical reliability, manage critical spares, and support long-term asset sustainability across the mill.

  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience within pulp & paper, chemical, or oil & gas industries

  • Strong background in power distribution, controls, PLCs, drives, and high voltage systems.

  • ExperiencewithequipmentfromGE,AllenBradley, andWestinghouse.

  • ProficiencyinSAPandMicrosoftOffice(ExcelandPowerPoint).

  • Experiencemanagingcontractorsandvendorsisaplus.

  • Stronginterpersonaland communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Willingness to work variable hours, including early starts and occasional late shifts when needed

  • Highself-motivationandaproactiveapproachtolearningandproblem-solving.
