Job Summary:
SimIS Inc. is an innovative information technology solution Veteran Owned Small Business founded in 2007. They are seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to provide analytical and technical support for shore-based training systems, focusing on scenario development, system integration, and performance analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct technical analysis of simulation systems and training requirements
• Support scenario development, verification, and validation activities
• Analyze system performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Develop technical documentation including specifications and procedures
• Support configuration management activities and change control processes
• Participate in technical review meetings and provide analytical input
• Conduct system integration studies and compatibility assessments
• Analyze training effectiveness and recommend system enhancements
• Support engineering change proposal development and review
• Prepare technical reports and briefings for management and government customers
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related technical field
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in systems analysis or military simulation systems
• Experience with scenario development and validation processes
• Knowledge of military training systems and simulation technologies
• Travel required: 25%
• Proficiency in simulation system analysis and performance evaluation
• Experience with DIS/HLA simulation standards and protocols
• Knowledge of LUA scripting and scenario development tools
• Understanding of system integration principles and methodologies
• Familiarity with database management and data analysis tools
• Experience with technical documentation and reporting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Experience with requirements analysis and system specification development
• Knowledge of verification and validation processes
• Understanding of configuration management principles
