Job description

About the Position: This position is located within the US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, Planning, Programs, and Project Management Division. In addition to meeting the Basic Education requirement below, to qualify for this position you must also meet the specialized experience requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects; Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of a project in coordination with other functional elements; AND Assist in the evaluation of the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects; Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of project in coordination with other functional elements; Monitor project performance and report on the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives; AND lead the development and implementation of Project Management Plans (PMP). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement for GS-12: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement for GS-13: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).Education:FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
