Job description

Provide clinical supervision for one or more Acupuncture and/or Chinese herbal medicine clinical rotations at Bastyr Center for Natural Health (BCNH) or Kenmore Washington. A clinic shift is comprised of 6-hours including supervising students delivering patient care, completion and sign-off on charting, student grading, patient management and student issues. (dates/times vary). For 4 of the 6 allotted hours, adjunct faculty supervise acupuncture and/or Chinese herbal medicine students delivering treatments, and lead case preview and review discussions. The remaining 2 hours are devoted to grading, patient management and student issues.
Candidates must have an active AEMP license with Washington state, current NCCAOM diplomate status in Acupuncture and if supervising Chinese herbal prescription, also in Chinese Herbology, and have been licensed in the field for more than 5 years. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in clinical supervision and or practice.
