We operate a high-volume, institutionally disciplined investment sales business. Our operations leadership sits directly alongside senior producers, enjoying executive autonomy, high visibility, and direct financial participation in the revenue growth of the team.

Position Overview

We are seeking an analytical, proactive, and structured Sales Operations Manager to serve as the operational engine of our 8-broker multifamily investment sales team.

In this role, you will lead a dedicated back-office support team (Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator), maintain data and pipeline integrity, and partner directly with team leadership to drive market expansion across the Midwest.

You will manage three core operational pillars: quarterbacking commercial deal pipelines from contract to close, driving market intelligence and lead generation engines to fuel broker production, and managing back-office execution and data architecture.

Core Responsibilities

1. Commercial Deal Flow & Transaction Management

  • Quarterback commercial transactions from pitch through contract to close, managing critical closing checklists alongside senior brokers.
  • Oversee transaction milestones: due diligence timelines, title/escrow coordination, lender requirements, and virtual data room (VDR) compliance.
  • Direct the production and delivery schedule for Offering Memorandums (OMs), property valuation packages, and client-facing deliverables.
  • Serve as the central communication hub across buyers, sellers, lenders, title officers, and third-party vendors to keep transactions moving smoothly.

2. Market Share Strategy & Sales Enablement

  • Analyze regional transaction data and competitor activity to identify market whitespace, untapped submarkets, and institutional ownership targets.
  • Build, enrich, and deliver high-probability prospect lists and actionable lead campaigns to our 8-broker sales team.
  • Track pipeline conversion velocity, campaign ROI, and market share metrics—evaluating outreach performance and optimizing campaigns based on real-time data.
  • Maintain proactive touchpoints with key existing clients to ensure relationship continuity and repeat business opportunities.

3. Operational Leadership & Data Integrity

  • Direct and mentor our internal marketing coordinator and graphic designer, ensuring project turnaround times and quality standards are met.
  • Own and maintain data architecture across our CRM and database systems, ensuring client records, transaction histories, and pipeline analytics are accurate and complete.
  • Establish, audit, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the team, keeping brokers focused on revenue-generating activities.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

  • 2 to 5+ years of operational, pipeline, or sales enablement experience in fast-paced commercial environments (Commercial Real Estate, RevOps / B2B Sales Operations, Commercial Lending, or Professional Services).
  • Professional Conviction: Strong communication skills and the confidence to present ideas, evaluate pros and cons objectively, and defend operational recommendations with data.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Able to mentor support staff while partnering effectively with 8 active, fast-moving brokers to maintain process discipline and project schedules.
  • Analytical & Market-Driven: Comfortable analyzing competitive market data, identifying revenue opportunities, and building targeted outbound lead lists.
  • Systems & Process Focus: High standard for data hygiene, CRM organization, and deadline execution.
  • Commercially Motivated: Driven by team revenue growth and pipeline velocity, with an appetite for performance-based compensation upside.
  • Location: Able to work full-time on-site out of our Indianapolis, IN office.

Compensation & Performance Upside

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Team Production Override: Direct commission percentage on total team closed volume, providing immediate financial upside as team revenue grows.
  • Market Share Growth Bonus: Annual performance bonus tied directly to driving team revenue above historical baselines and expanding regional market share.
  • Target Year 1 Total Comp: $115,000 – $150,000+
  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, paid time off, and professional development support.
