Key Responsibilities of Charge Nurse (RN or LPN):
  • Supervise and support nursing assistants and medication aides

  • Assess, plan, coordinate, and deliver nursing care for skilled nursing and long-term care residents

  • Monitor residentsโ€™ conditions and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team and physicians

  • Provide resident and family education as needed

  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and facility policies

  • Maintain accurate documentation and care records

Qualifications for Charge Nurse (RN or LPN):
  • Current RN or LPN license in Nebraska (or compact license recognized by Nebraska)

  • CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within the first month of employment

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
