Since 2000, Midtown Optometric Group has been committed to delivering proactive, patient-centered eye health care for patients at every age. The practice provides comprehensive eye exams and care for a wide range of needs, including eye diseases, eye conditions, children’s vision care, and ongoing preventive eye health. As the practice continues to grow and expand access to quality care, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships, practice in a collaborative environment, and make a lasting impact in the community. You’ll join an established team supported by tenured optometrists, experienced staff, and a dedicated Practice Manager who helps ensure smooth daily operations so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.

As a part-time Optometrist, you’ll provide comprehensive primary vision and eye health care in a high-end boutique clinic, caring for patients of all ages and managing a variety of vision and eye health conditions. This role offers a consistent Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with eight-hour days and approximately 16 patients per day. You’ll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, including digital retinal imaging, and the support of a highly skilled team. In addition to competitive pay, this opportunity includes a CE allowance and production bonus.

You're a highly compassionate and self-motivated Optometrist committed to providing compassionate patient care and customer service. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to establish strong relationships with patients and coworkers. You're also willing to stay current and integrate new techniques and innovations to enhance patient care and services. Candidates may be recent graduates or seasoned professionals; however, all applicants must possess a current California optometry license. Typically has the following skills or abilities:

• Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
• 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
• Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
