Overview:

Vascular Tech Reg, PRN, Piedmont Columbus Midtown

Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing to include various 2D / Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing. Provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.

Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing to include various 2D / Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing. Provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.

Qualifications:Education
  • Graduate of Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program Required or
  • In Lieu of education, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Required
Work Experience
  • No experience required
  • 2 years related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory vascular sonographer Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required and
  • Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one the following: within 1 Year
  • RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist within 1 Year Required or
  • RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification within 1 Year Required
