Description

The Technical Professional is responsible for the assigned engineering and technical deliverables and activities on ongoing projects with our midstream group.  Responsible for collaboratively applying techniques and analysis within the discipline/project.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Input into the preparation and scheduling of an assigned scope of work.
  • Working within discipline-specific parameters and assigned responsibilities.
  • Providing input for budgets, schedules, plans, and reporting on the status of deliverables and activities.
  • Cooperating, collaborating, and communicating with the Project Manager and other project participants to create more efficient project methods.
  • Reviewing specific tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions as assigned.
  • Following specifications as required for the project.
  • Ensuring compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications as warranted.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Professional Engineering license or Engineer in Training preferred.
  • 5-10 years field and project planning experience.
  • Experience in HDD and routing in midstream.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Ability to develop Project management and supervision skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Work Environmental and Physical Demands
  • Spends 80% of the time in an office environment.
  • Is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. 
  • Is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. 
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
