Hatch is seeking an Engineer with an experience in Nuclear Energy and Power Systems for a full time position. You will work on a variety of nuclear projects and all sectors within Power (nuclear, thermal, and eGrid which encompasses renewables, hybrid power, transmission & distribution and grid modernization).

Responsibilities:
  • Solve challenging problems pertaining to nuclear energy technologies and power generating systems
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
  • Assist with wide range of nuclear projects
  • Actively participate in the creation of engineering deliverables, technical reports, and presentations to clients
  • Assist in the research and development of energy technologies
  • Assist with project management within the scope, schedule, and budget provided by engagement managers
  • Support business development efforts and strategic initiatives

Education and Experience:
  • Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering student
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in the nuclear industry and/or engineering consulting
  • Strong academic record
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Individual must be eligible to work on export controlled projects subject to 10 CFR 810
