Position Description
MidState Mechanical and Electrical, LLC is looking to fill the role of Plumber / Pipefitter. We are a family owned and operated company that specializes in public funded prevailing wage projects. Our vast portfolio consists of small municipality facilities as well as schools and government funded projects. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Installing various types of piping and equipment but not limited to domestic water, sanitary, and gas piping, plumbing fixtures, carriers, hydronic and snow melt systems
  • Troubleshooting and repairing all systems
  • Operate machinery and equipment, such as forklifts and pipe threading machines
  • Installing underground piping systems and water meter vaults
  • Inspect and test installed pipe systems to ensure functionality
  • Installing specialized systems including boilers and hydronic piping systems
  • Interpret plans and specifications to facilitate installation of various piping systems

Position Requirements
Experience / Qualifications
  • Commercial boiler and hydronic piping experience
  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to work at various locations in Central Pennsylvania
  • Ability to pass required ACT 24, FBI, and Child Abuse clearances

Knowledge and Skills
  • Able to read plans and specifications
