A Business Intelligence engineer who can troubleshoot complex applications. Working closely with application, database, storage, and network teams to resolve complex issues and to architect new solutions. This engineer would also work closely with the Application Support teams to develop new levels of automation.
Job Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility of this position is to provide technical leadership, guidance and service improvements through leveraging a global, account-based technical delivery team for infrastructure
applications (i.e., middleware, database, business intelligence, collaboration, SOA)
Specific areas of responsibilities for support include:
- Provide senior technical leadership to BI/Middleware incidents, driving technical teams and incident management bridges to resolve client incidents
- Demonstration and application of situational awareness applied to the assessment and execution of resolution decisions during incident resolution
- Provide senior technical leadership to problem management activities for BI and Middleware services
- Assess current infrastructure application services and identify continuous service improvement (CSI) and automation opportunities
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to the account Business Intelligence and Middleware teams in support of their operational and service request tasks
- Support SLA tracking and reporting for open systems services
- Support the creation and update of configuration items and knowledge artifacts
- Regular assessment of operational procedures and alignment of business recovery services to production services
- Represent Atos in customer Business Intelligence strategy and architecture meetings and workshops,
including:
- Policies and plans for data, applications, hardware, telecommunications, and computer installations
- Plan, participate and oversee standards are applied to project initiatives
- All other duties as assigned
- Typically utilizes technical skills more than management skills
This position requires strong technical skills, aggressive (non-passive) personality traits to drive incident resolution teams and events, ability to remain calm and focused during high tension critical service incidents, ability to articulate clear and effective communications (internal/external), ability to

- Project Management skill levels sufficient for the understanding and implementation of
within-team and cross-functional projects
- Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complex relationships between components of
multi-tiered applications and systems.
- Self-driven and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
