Job Description

The position will be responsible to ensure that the objectives of the Application Infrastructure Engineering team are met:

1. 3+ years of experience in Engineering/Architecture in the areas of:

  • High performance, High-Availability, Virtualization
  • Cloud Computing
  • Business Continuality Planning/Disaster Recovery

2. 3+ years of Experience with the following Technologies:

  • Virtualization technologies, such as VmWare
  • Platforms, Client, and OS - Linux, Windows
  • Middleware - Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic
  • Databases - Oracle, DB2, SQLServer
  • Storage technologies, VMAX SAN, VNX NAS, NetApp
  • Networking, such as Cisco Switches, Load balancers F5 GTM, LTM

3. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience

4. 10 years of relevant experience in IT Network, Engineering and Operations

5. Experience in designing secure Cloud & Virtualized Environments in multi-tenant environments

6. Understanding of HA and DR concepts as they apply to Infrastructure Designs

7. Legacy to Current Infrastructure migrations

Preferred Skills:

1. More than 8-10 years of professional experience in information technology

2. Experience in championing change and effectively managing project/program implementation

3. Advanced knowledge of technical project management, project implementation, infrastructure engineering

4. Advanced skill in communications and working with teams in a matrix environment

5. Strong infrastructure engineering skills in one or more areas of Servers, Storage, OS, Middleware, Network, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience
