This position is responsible for delivering engaging, rigorous instruction within their content area while fostering a disciplined, respectful, and Christ-centered learning environment. Teachers are expected to demonstrate subject-matter expertise, scholarly engagement, and a commitment to cultivating students who thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.

Each teacher is accountable to the Department Chair, Principal, and ultimately the Head of School. Requirements / Qualifications A bachelor's degree (four-year degree) is required. A master's degree in an educational field and/or a valid teaching credential is preferred.

Candidates must demonstrate strong instructional practices, classroom management skills, subject-matter expertise, and the ability to integrate technology effectively into instruction. A vibrant and growing Christian faith aligned with the mission and Statement of Faith of Village Christian School is required. Applicants must submit a completed employment application, resume, and proof of degree.

Teaching credential documentation (if applicable) should also be submitted. Upon hire, employees must provide documentation verifying authorization to work in the United States (I-9), complete required background checks and Live Scan fingerprinting, and provide TB clearance in accordance with state regulations. A signed faith statement and any additional documentation required by school policy must be completed as part of the onboarding process.
