Job description

We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities.The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. See description below:

Forklift Operator – Solar Panel Logistics Company

  • Operating forklifts to safely move, load, unload, and stage solar panels and related materials within the warehouse and shipping areas.
  • Load and unloaded incoming and outgoing shipments while ensuring products were handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Organize inventory and store materials in designated warehouse locations to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations by verifying quantities and inspecting products for accuracy and quality.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures while operating equipment and handling materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse documentation and scanning systems.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines and production schedules.
  • Kept work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

Requirements

*Must Have Forklift CertificationTechnical Skills
  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Conducting pre-shift equipment inspections
  • Reading pick tickets, shipping documents, or inventory labels
  • Using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (helpful)
  • Stacking and storing materials accurately
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work in warehouse, manufacturing, or outdoor environments
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
Safety Requirements
  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Wear required PPE (safety shoes, vest, gloves, etc.)
  • Report equipment issues immediately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
